Apparently, Tessa Jowell has decided there should be a Bloggers Code of Conduct to bring about civility on the Intyernet which has decided to rename "Ourspace". Amusingly she, like some others, has stated that she welcomes the idea of the web pioneer Tim O'Reilly for a code of conduct.
This would be the same Tim O'Reilly who told Wired News that he'd "come to think the call for a code of conduct was a bit misguided." Of course, you won't find many of the obsessive crew mentioning O'Reilly's backtrack because it doesn't sort their authoritarian purpose.
Jowell is going to have a webchat apparently about her censorship proposals. She can take a code of conduct adn stuff it where the sun doesn't shine. This website is not "OurSpace", it is, to use a trademark phrase "My Space". My website, my rules.

She can kiss my rosy red ar*e
So Labour still has not got the hang of this web thingy, that and the fact that it does not abide by Labour rules on the FOI.
If it works successfully for everyone else other than Labour, then it must be broken and brought down to a level that Labour can control? Someone give the dippy incompetent minister a crash course on how it all works!
Just read Jowells attempt on GU. What a waste of good reading time.
The sooner the entire government are taken out and shot by the voters the better.
The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.
...............Friedrich Nietzsche.
Book editors should put things into proper perspective.
This latest Code of Conduct proposal by Tim O'Reilly and his argument over “words” has been going on for 4 weeks. During that time 504,000 children have died of hunger
