The steering committee to inform the public? Never heard of it!

How quaintly amsuing, the website for the "National Steering Committee on Warning and Informing the Public" managed to get just 5,600 vistors over the past 12 months. For some reason I can't help but snigger that an organisation who's role is to "inform the public" should be so popular.

Speakign seriously for a moment, I had never heard of this committee, and I imagine that most people probably hadn't, which, for ignorant old me at least, suggests that its failing on one of its fundamental purposes to inform. Having said this I am a bit of a cynical bastard.

Its also worthy to note that the website doesnt have an RSS feed, so that people can automatically be 'informed' of any updates.

As you can see, the updates are very infrequent, with the last one being early april, so a daily visit would soon become very boring.

RSS is the way to go, and that goes for most government web sites.
