Non-white schools to be forced to mix with white ones

Oh hang on, sorry, I made a mistake with the post title. It should've said " All-white schools to be forced to find multi-ethnic twins", or perhaps, "All-white schools told to forge relations with black or Asian pupils". Such a dreadful typo by me as well, after all, accidentally flipping the headline on its head is racist!

Seriously, what is it with the way these ideas are expressed? By defining it as "all-white schools" being forced to do something there is, tacitly, a negative implication directed towards the "all-white schools" as if they are somehow evil segregationists. They are tantamount to the KKK/WASP tendency amongst the white population to fail to mix.

What's more, there is the implication that evil whitey's desire to segregate and "not mix" means that all the children are doomed to jack booting brown shirt wearing bigotry. It's bollocks. Yes, we have a problem with virtual apartheid in this country at many of schools. Yes, the idea of twinning schools where their make-up is ethnically different isn't actually a bad idea. But why frame it in terms of forcing one skin colour to mix with another? Surely that is, whichever way you flip it, the truly racist and prejudicial thing?

As the PC Police get a tighter grip on us so Britain will get crazier. The actions of some of the PC-ers and those who take an academic view to such things is fuelling the sickening BNP fire.

Mmmm. White flight is a huge factor in many schools. My son goes to a Junior School with 240 pupils 20-30 of whom are NOT Asian. This 20 includes students who are not white and not asian.

The area is if memory serves around 25% asian. It is a much better school than the white flight ones.

You're right though. The language is odd. Is that the newspaper subs?
