Is Charle Clarke going to do a residency at The End?

I've just noticed that the Anyone but Brown 2020 Vision website seems to have removed the Smith Institute from its list of Think Tanks on the Links page.

What's more, Policy Exchange not only remains in the list, but Clarke and Milburn's attempt to provide "renewal" for New Labour is also going to be hosting an event with Policy Exchange called "The leadership effect: can headteachers make a difference?" on April 17th which will be all about what 2020 Vision call "groundbreaking new research".

Call me a cynic if you will, but let's see; first they remove Gordon's personal think tank from the links page; then they host an event by a centre-right think tank under the euphemistic title "The leadership effect"? Do you think - just maybe - they might be trying to tell him something?

As hidden messages go it's about as subtle as "eezer Goode, eezer Goode, he's Ebeneezer Goode"
N.B: The End is the club in London owned by Mr C of The Shamen at which he has a residency. At least he used too.

fair enough, just goes to show I don't read your blog. Doesn't change the other point. p.s. 20 days or so is not an eon.
