Apparently, some desperate Labour councillor has shelled out £100 for a bottle of House of Commons whiskey signed by Gordon Brown. At the same fudnraising auction the bottle of whiskey signed by Tony Blair only managed to make £50.
Something tells me it that just the one bottle of scotch may not be enough to cope with a Brown premiership.

someone ebay'd an empty one signed by some minister or other - got £1:50 I think
this things change hands for a lot more than these figures ... it's just a donation at the end of the day
we sell free range eggs in such auctions and the record for half a dozen is over £60 and they're not signed by anyone ...
the Blair one will be worth more undrunk in a few months than the Brown one ...
someone bought a copy of Balls' neo-classical endogynous growth theory tome signed by Balls for £140 at a do I went to 12 months ago
an everton shirt, also signed by someone significant went for £50 ...
