Loving the self-consciousness of the audience.
Coulter is a gift to the Dems. Rabble-rousing poison is all she is. Paint wrote a bit about her at our blog; I believe that Presidential candidates (Romney is her choice from them, apparently) are busying themselves condemning it.
It's not like the vile Swift Boat stuff, which was effective and Bush was able to at least appear to condemn; there's no gain in this stuff for the GOP. CPAC should stop inviting her and making her into the main event, because it just makes them look like moronic bigots, particularly when the crowd are yukking it up.
Ann Coulter is speaking for the racist, homophobic, and Christian Supremacist views of CPAC. (Don't forget the bigoted comments she made about Barack Obama.)
No wonder they invite her.
