Tom Watson outraged at whips playing politics

Over on his blog, Tom Watson MP is opining about the terrible state of affairs where the DUP have apparently forced assembly members to sign undated resignation letters in advance. Tom says,
Imagine the outcry if Labour whips forced candidates to sign an undated resignation letter and implement rules in which you can be fined up to £20,000 for not towing the line. He doesn’t know he’s born that Jeremy Corbyn.
Very true indeed, why it's almost as bad as a Labour whip orchestrating a seemingly spontaneous handful of resignations including their own, in the hope of forcing a Prime Minister to resign and bring about a bloodless coup for his political master!

Don't forget Tom's "Iain Dale must apologise" campaign. As he is the man who made the most implausible denial of this Parliament

“I dropped a present for the new baby. I saw Gordon, but it was a purely social visit and just stayed for a cup of coffee. I did not discuss any letter and it would have been inappropriate to do so.”

it would seem Tom has more front than Blackpool.

Dizzy,

OK, you've attacked me and we all know why that is. What do you think of the isssue - that democratically elected representatives should sign undated resignation letters?

Oh dear, oh dear. I'll put in a good word for you with the Shadow Chancellor next time I see him.
