Anyone who bought this morning's Daily Telegraph will have seen that Iain Dale debuted a column in it. Those who read it will also have noticed that Simon Heffer's article was directly above it. I wonder how Iain feels about having Heffer on top of his column?
Note: The Internet has warped my fragile little mind.

Actually, Heffer's column was rather less loony than usual, and in fact makes the very relevant point that Bliar expressed wonderful ideals to which we could all ascribe, but has been unable to give any of them effect. Why? Because he never actually had any principles, and merely espoused his ideals in order to gain power. NuLabour will only be remembered for what it didn't do at home, and for what it DID do abroad ( Iraq etc.)
Bloody dull dale peice Dizzy I like the Heffer bit which had some great quotes from ten years ago.
Is this a smutty joke about Heffer on the dale Collumn. Brave man Dizzy you will never be on Doughty Street again at this rate . You know Dale has no sense of humour about that sort of thing.
DIZZY IN HOMOPHOBIC OUTRAGE SHOCK
Hope he doesn`t find out......
I await the day that an Iain Dale article sits above a Heffer piece in the Telegraph, then I will know normal service has returned to the paper and I can buy it again.
Quite so 'Kinglear'.
Would that Cameron had some recognisable principles other than 'By Any Means Necessary'(to get elected).
Despite my 100% Tory voting record since almost the beginning of time, I'm not prepared to vote for this unprincipled gang of PR spivs.
I didn't get the sense that Iain D's heart was in his writing. I hope he's not making the same mistake the principled Old Labourites made when were seduced into support of 'The Third Way'.
For 'The Third Way' read 'Rebranding the Conservative Party'.
Newmania,
I wouldn't worry, never read Dizzy's tawdry little blog anyway :)
You are in so much much trouble now Dizzy...
Will Mr Dale give Dizzy a lift when Mr Dale gets his new Rolls Royce ,or will Dizzy snub him or will Mr Dale snub Dizzy watch this amazing moment on 18DS the channel that real people watch (me I prefer a DVD)
I have finally worked out who writes The Hitch - it is Simon Heffer!
MMMmm. Nearly blogged Dale's column last night. But I gave up and went to sleep. Will they have him back?
Oh the hurt, the pain. Chris, seeing as every other post on your blog seems to be about something or other I have written or done (or not done) I am sure I will get over you not reading my column.
