Computer theft spree at the Home Office?

How ironic, the Home Office has apparently been sugffering from regular theft of computers in its offices since 2001 at a minimum rate of one theft per month. During the worst year, 2004, there were 140 computers stolen from Home Office premises. No wonder the place isn't "fit for purpose".
