Tories will meet Labour's ethical obligations

It was reported during this week and last that a young filmmaker called Danny Dewsbury was stitched up by the Labour Party into carrying out filming work of Labour politicians and their conference. He was supposed to have his expenses paid at least, although it appears that in the eyes of the law he was actually carrying employment and so, under Labour's own legislation, should have at least been paid minimum wage.

Tory blogger PragueTory has thus proposed that he and "certain other Conservative activists [of which I incldue myself] have considered the situation and have decided that we are prepared to meet the Labour Party's ethical obligation and to renumerate Danny for his six days of real work."

A fine idea even if I do say so myself. Labour's moral credibility is low in my mind anyway (not suprising I know), but such apparently underhanded tactics of employment of an already indebted student, frankly, stinks.
