With a quick hat tip to Sam Coates, deputy editor of ConservativeHome for pointing this out to me, it appears that entire cost of the HSE Bäackpain campaign I posted about on Monday is £2.4million, according to a follow-up report in today's Times.Having spoken with Croydonian this morning it appears that there's a large advert in at least one of tabloids for the fake band as well. Sadly the eBay auction is not looking like it;s going to claw back the cost, but someone is obviously having fun with it as the spandex is now at £2000.

I spotted the ad in the Daily Star, and before the sniggering starts, my excuse is that they didn't have the THES or the London Review of Books in the cafe I was in....
