Lib-Lab coalition starts to divvy up Welsh Assembly posts ahead of May elections

Apparently the Liberal Democrats and Labour Party in Wales have started divvying up the jobs in the Welsh Assembly in a secret post-May election coalition plan. Mike German, the Liberal Democrat leader is going to become the Deputy First Minister and Finance Minister.

They've been involved in secret discussions for months according to ICSouthWales. Given the events of the last week, I imagine Labour might even have trouble holding on with the Lib Dems to help them. Isn't it all rather arrogant and presumptive to start sharing out positions before the election has even been called though?
