Just spoted a post on Ed Vaizey's blog about a fan site for Alan Milburn here. It's the soft-focus banner image that disturbs me most. This said, it's get worse when you change "milburn" for "blair" in the url.
I think your missing the point of the arty graphics and the site - it's just fun. Actually the person that runs the blair website is in her 30's not a teen. I like the blair site at least he's still got the support!!!
